Visiting the website and hosting
The website is provided through Manus-managed hosting and asset delivery. Your browser sends technical information necessary to request and receive pages, including your IP address and the requested resource. Hosting services may also process access and security logs.
The intended purpose is to deliver the website reliably and protect it against misuse. The proposed legal basis is our legitimate interest in providing a secure business website, under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Before publication: confirm the applicable Manus contracting/processor entity and data-processing agreement, the actual log fields and retention periods, relevant hosting and asset-delivery providers, processing locations and any international-transfer safeguards. No fixed retention period or EU-only hosting claim has been assumed in this draft.
Email and telephone enquiries
If you contact us, we process the details you provide, such as your name, contact information and enquiry, to respond and explore a possible engagement. The mailbox is provided by STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany; this is separate from Manus website hosting. STRATO publishes a data-processing agreement covering its mail service. Its published information describes German mail infrastructure, but does not establish that every related processing operation takes place exclusively in Germany.
Where your enquiry concerns a contract with you personally, the legal basis may be pre-contractual steps requested by you under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. For other business enquiries, the proposed basis is our legitimate interest in responding under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Please do not send sensitive personal information or confidential corporate documents in an initial ordinary email.
Before publication: confirm the specific mailbox configuration, any optional archiving service and the enquiry-retention practice. The proposed approach is to retain correspondence only while needed for the enquiry, an engagement, applicable legal duties or the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
Fonts, photographs and website functions
Fonts are hosted with the website rather than requested from Google Fonts or another external font service. Photographs are delivered as website assets through the hosting platform. This version has no contact form, visitor account, online booking, checkout, newsletter signup or embedded map/video player.
The website itself does not use profiling or automated decisions about visitors.
Cookies, analytics and device storage
The website application does not set its own cookies or use local or session storage. Optional platform visitor analytics are disabled in the website configuration, and the platform badge and its analytics are disabled.
This does not mean that hosting/CDN technical processing has ceased. The final public website must be checked before deciding whether any device storage or access requires consent under section 25 TDDDG. We are not claiming that every platform request is absent or that a banner is never required.
Recipients and international processing
Technical hosting and email providers may process data needed to provide their services. We do not assume that all data is processed solely in Germany or the EU.
The final notice must identify the relevant recipients and explain any processing outside the EEA, the applicable adequacy decision or other safeguards, and how information about those safeguards can be obtained. These details and the processor agreements are still being verified.
Your rights
Subject to the relevant legal conditions, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests on grounds relating to your particular situation. If processing relies on your consent, you may withdraw it for the future without affecting prior lawful processing.
You may also complain to a data-protection supervisory authority, including one in the country of your habitual residence, workplace or the alleged infringement. The authority for Schleswig-Holstein is the Unabhängiges Landeszentrum für Datenschutz Schleswig-Holstein (ULD).
Security and changes
The currently published Manus website uses HTTPS. HTTPS and the public configuration will be checked again when the custom domain is connected. Ordinary email is not guaranteed to provide end-to-end encryption. We recommend sharing sensitive material only after agreeing a suitable communication channel.
Adding analytics, booking tools, forms or other services will require this notice and any consent controls to be reviewed. Updated 1 November 2026. The hosting, retention and international-transfer checks identified above remain open before the final launch.
